How We Started

MEET PASTOR DON…

Pastor Don Smith has been in the ministry. He has been married for over 25 years. His passion is to see people set free and delivered from their sin. Many preach false doctrines, are deceiving and being deceived. Our goal as "Only One Truth" along with Pastor Don Smith is to witness people’s eyes open from the lies they've been told. Pastor Don's assignment is simple. It is to refute the false doctrine being preached and to preach the truth of the gospel. We pray you would join us to deliver the message of freedom to those who are deceived. That all would repent and be baptized for the remission of sins.

We Found The Truth

Prior to planting “only one truth,” Donald Smith was a pastor at ‘The Church International’ which is an association of churches (ARC associations) with multiple campuses. Such churches, as with many, are heavily institutionalized and are of the false church system rife with religious doctrines and man-made traditions. The Lord called Donald out from the church system— to be separate and holy as He expects of all His children (2 Cor 6, 1 Pet 1:16, Eph 5). With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, along with convictions he felt, Don spoke with the head pastor and leadership at that institution on several occasions. They, however, refused to submit to the truth of the Gospel. Thereafter, the Lord called Don Smith to begin church in 2019.

We began as a Bible study and developed into a five-fold ministry church led by the Lord. We realized that there are many involved in the false church system who walk in destructive doctrines, whether knowingly or unknowingly, and not in obedience to Scriptures. The Lord gave us opportunity to connect with brethren around the world who have also come to the truth of the gospel: called out of the false church system and walking in obedience. We have been able to connect with other members of the Body via Skype and Youtube, to which we invite others who truly regard Jesus as their Lord and Savior to join in fellowship. Our mission as the church is to prepare those who are with us, and who reach us, for the Church Christ is returning for. A holy and spotless Church (Eph. 5.27).

The Church must be blameless otherwise it is not the true Church. Because many ‘churches’ and professed ‘Christians’ are not blameless and are not walking in the light, our church heavily emphasizes repentance, as Jesus and the Apostles did and as should be with the gathering of the saints everywhere. God has called His people out from darkness into His marvelous light to be the true ‘Ecclesia’, the called-out ones. Psalm 1 discusses that those who do not sit in the counsel of the ungodly are blessed.
